David Mead (formerly Moore)[1] (born 4 November 1988) is an Papua New Guinean rugby league footballer for the Gold Coast Titans of the National Rugby League. The Papua New Guinea international representative plays primarily as a winger.

Mead attended Kadina High School and Trinity Catholic College in Lismore New South Wales. He played junior football with Lismore Marist Brothers.[2]
Mead was named in the PNG squad for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.[3]
Mead played impressively during the 2008 Rugby League World Cup and his NRL debut for the Gold Coast Titans is highly anticipated.[2]
Mead recently signed a contract extension with the Gold Coast Titans after turning down an offer from the Sydney Roosters.[1]
Mead made his club debut in round 13 of the 2009 season
Mead was named as part of the Papua New Guinea squad for the 2009 Pacific Cup.[4] He was named Papua New Guinea player of the year for 2009.[5]
Mead wishes to one day represent Qld in State of Origin and follow in the footsteps of his childhood hero and fellow Papua New Guinean Adrian Lam. Mead played his first senior football for the Titans Toyota Cup side, making him eligible to play for the Maroons. [6]
